THE VANGINAS® is a registered trademark owned by Naomi Pettenuzzo. The trade mark provides legal protection for the registered brand and its use in connection with the goods and services covered by the registration. Unauthorised use of THE VANGINAS® name or other protected trade mark elements  (including the word Vanginas on social media, clothing, stickers, signage, merchandise etc) may constitute trademark infringement. Any commercial use of the trademark by another person or business therefore requires the prior written permission of the trade mark owner.

What kind of girls / women join THE VANGINAS® - will I connect with someone like myself?

We’re a bunch of adventurous gals and women, typically ranging from our 30s through to our 70s and beyond, with our most actively involved age group sitting around the 40s to 60s. We’re married, partnered, single, widowed, caregivers, mothers, grandmothers, empty nesters — and everything in between. And the best part? There’s no “type” of woman who belongs here. Some women simply want to escape their everyday roles as partners, wives and mothers for a little while — to switch off, connect with other women, have some fun, and enjoy a little adventure or time outdoors. Some are finding themselves in a whole new chapter of life — navigating relationship or marriage separation, becoming empty nesters, starting over, or simply discovering who they are in this next stage. Some want to grow their social circles, make new friendships and create stronger female connections and Sista bonds.  Others already love camping, glamping, road trips and outdoor adventures, but feel more comfortable — and have more fun — knowing there’s a tribe of women around them. Safety in numbers, Sistas! And for most of us… Well, there doesn’t need to be a reason at all. It's simply in our blood.... We’re curious. We’re adventurous. We’re a little bit wild. We love the freedom of the open road, discovering new places, meeting new people, sharing stories, having a laugh and making memories. We don’t need an excuse.... We just wanna be #Wild and #Free… in great company!

NO! The beauty of our Sisterhood is that we love welcoming fellow female Sista's with open arms. Do you love the outdoors and camping / glamping, adventuring and connecting with other women that have similar interests...yes? Then come and join in the fun with us! We have many ladies that camp in their cars, swags and pitch tents too.

Is this Sisterhood group too old ... or too young for me?

Our answer? Absolutely not!
One of the best things about The Vanginas is that we don’t put an age limit on sisterhood.
You’re never too young, too old, too experienced or too new to connect with other Vangina Sisters.
In fact, we think there’s something pretty special about bringing different generations together. 
Youth and wisdom. Experience and enthusiasm. Confidence and curiosity. We all have something to share — and something to learn from each other.
The younger Sistas can bring fresh ideas, energy and a different perspective, while our more experienced Sistas bring stories, knowledge, encouragement and a few lessons learned along the way!
And somewhere in between, we all find common ground — a love of adventure, connection, travel, camping, friendship, a good laugh and the freedom to simply be ourselves. Because sisterhood isn’t measured in years.It’s measured in the connections we make, the encouragement we give, the stories we share and the memories we create together. So whether you’re 25, 45, 65 or somewhere in between… Pull up your van, grab a camp chair and come say G’day. There’s always room around the campfire for another Vangina. 💜🚐✨

For all of our VANGINAS EVENTS, head over to THE VANGINAS Facebook “EVENTS” page.This is where you’ll find all of our publicly listed Vangina Day catch-ups, coffee catch-ups, lunch dates, weekend getaways, longer road trips, regular annual getaways and adventures.
We have a variety of events to suit different vibes and different crews, including:💗 GIRLS-ONLY EVENTS - Just our #VSistas — time to connect, laugh, explore, adventure and enjoy some quality Sista time.
🍻 MIXED EVENTS - Our #VSistas are welcome to bring along their male partners, friends and families — including the kiddies (big and small!). Because sometimes it’s nice to share the Vangina adventures with everyone!
Our PUBLIC EVENTS are open to our officially-unofficial (registered) #VSistas, as well as those who are affiliated with THE VANGINAS and love hanging out with us, but haven't officially registered as a #VSista yet.

🔐 PRIVATE GETAWAYS & ADVENTURES - Want to join our PRIVATE getaways, stay-overs and adventures? Then it’s time to “Sign Me Up, Sista!” and become one of our officially-unofficial VANGINAS. Once you’re registered, you’ll be added to our private Facebook Chat Group, where our #VSistas can connect, chat, share ideas and plan our more exclusive adventures together.
This is where the sneaky, sometimes incognito getaways happen… Well… we say “incognito”.But let’s be honest — how exactly are we supposed to "hide" when we’re all out there rocking our hilarious and engaging, conversation starter #VTees?! 🤣
Our private group also gives our #VSistas the opportunity to organise smaller, more private getaways and connections when they’re looking for a more intimate crew or simply want to hang out with a few of their favourite Sistas. YES! Many of our events, getaways and adventures are for the "V Sista's" only. These are for the times the girls just simply want their "girl time". These gatherings are when we witness the true wonders of connection and freedom in its simplest and purest forms. Its in these wonderful moments the girls aren't "Boss - Mum - Wife - Partner - Girlfriend - Carer". They are just "themselves". No errands to do. No one to answer to. No one that needs to be cared for. Just simple, easy, fun loving, laughter filled, soul searching adventurous moments with a bunch of girls enjoying the same.

YES!! We often host OPEN Mixed Events, giving our Vangina Sistas the opportunity to bring along their significant others, partners, husbands, loved ones and family members. And when the men join the adventure, they’re often affectionately known around these parts as our “Manginas” or “Vangents.” 😂 Because let’s face it… we’re happy to let them join in on the fun too! 😉 A little note for the Guys: 👋Our Open Mixed Events are open to men and family members by invitation only from a #VSista or affiliated Sista.So, if you’d like to join in, simply yell out to one of your #VSista connections… or encourage your girlfriend, wife or partner to “Sign Up” and become an officially-unofficial THE VANGINAS® #SISTER — then you can join in on the fun too! After all… why should the girls have ALL the fun?! 😉

Where are all THE VANGINAS® based?

The "OG" #VSistas are primarily based in Queensland. Specifically the South East Coast of Australia around the Sunshine Coast region and the Gold Coast. As our name spreads... awareness increases and and our VSista numbers increase... so does the map and base locations of our girls / ladies around Australia. As of mid 2026 we are now officially welcoming girls / ladies from interstate at our events, gatherings and getaways.
